Common questions
Do I need internet access or an account?
Cups, text recognition and creating images or clips do not need an account or an internet connection made by the app. Downloading the app, retrieving iCloud media or sharing through other apps may require a connection.
How many drinks fit in a cup?
A cup can contain two to 64 drinks. Drink League assigns byes where needed. You can shuffle the pairings before starting.
The menu scan misses some names. What can I do?
Use a sharp, well-lit picture with as little glare as possible. Check the suggested names before adding them. You can edit names, deselect suggestions or enter drinks yourself.
Can I undo a decision?
Yes. You can undo the last decision, including after a champion has been chosen.
What happens to my photos and videos?
Drink photos are stored with your cups on your iPhone. Selected media and generated clips are processed locally. Another app only receives an item when you pass it through the iOS share sheet.
Does it work without alcohol?
Yes. Lemonade, mocktails, juice, coffee and iced tea work just as well. There are no points for drinking quantities.
Where are my cups stored?
Your cups are saved locally on your iPhone. You can delete a cup and its associated photos in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data; previously shared items and existing backups are separate.
